2019 Guimaro, Finca Meixeman Ribeira Sacra Spain Hugel - High WestFinca Meixeman is a single 1. 2 hectare southeast facing plot of old Menca vines. This is the original family owned vineyard that helped create their adega. The grapes are handharvested, foot trodden with 40% whole cluster, and fermented in open top foudre with a long maceration. The wine is raised for 12 14 months in mostly used Burgundy barrels, and bottled without fining or filtration. With a core of kirsch like red fruit, spices, and minerals,
