The vines average 30 years in age and sit on shale and sandstone with the south facing exposure

leading to a thick palate of small berries

2022 Uivo Moscatel Galego, Douro, Portugal De Sterlich so the young wine wasHarvested from 40ish year old vineyards on a combination of granite and schist soils at around 600 meters of elevation. The fruit is pressed directly off the skins, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It then ages for 6 months on the fine lees in cement tank.
