isolated stands of fruit trees (150-200 trees in total) that occasionally emerge from the Alpine pastures

situated high up in the forest of Fleurie

then (after malolactic fermentation) aged in barrels of one wine during 12 months

This was intended to add to the heritage of the winery and serve as a "test plot" for better understanding the character and potential of the individual varieties
