Internal Conflict: Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Doorstop with Carved Eagle horse puzzle hand-colored in this caseAnother one found in Pennsylvania, and I would bet that is where it was made, with a bit of a Wilhelm Schimmel character to the carving of the eagle. What really sold me on this was the internal tension embedded in it to use it as a doorstop is to lay that eagle flat on its back, and to come very close at least to treading on it. Which makes it feel very much like a metaphor. Oh, America. 6 1 4" x 1 7 8" x 1 1 4". Wear to the bottom edge of the
