Steel Heim Joints Size:5/16" Automotive Alternator Adjustment ArmSteel Heim Joint. Available in 3 8" or 5 16". Generally, 6 8 heim joints can be used in the steering system: 2 per steering cable, 4 (3 8") per rudder set, and 2 (3 8") per drag link. Heim Joints can be threaded on each end of the drag link and connected to the rudder clover.
